Hi!

My name is Steve and I live in Llandudno, North Wales. I lecture at the local college. My subjects are a little boring - business I'm afraid. I am a real family man and love going for walks and taking lots of photographs. I love watching films of most sorts - I have just finished watching 'Jumper' - it's OK but could have been a little more exciting in parts but a good yarn.

As you can see, this is my first blog and I am just experimenting before I get off the ground proper. Any advice would be welcome and if you would like to share some of your thoughts and ideas I am quite receptive to most things (I am quite broad minded, but I don't really like offensive stuff - I can be a little bit of a bore I'm afraid - but, I do like to learn new things).

Oh well, I'm going now - this appears OK for a first attempt - See you around.

Hi Steve, welcome to blogland. I'm in Australia. We've just returned from London where we left our elder son Steve on his great adventure. We left our daughter in Scotland on a previous trip to the UK. That leaves only our younger son in Oz. I expect on our next trip we'll leave him in the UK too.

As to any advice, I'd suggest you read some other blogs, and then select as neighbours those blogs that you think may be of interest to you. Then, whenever you click on "Your neighbourhood" only those blogs from your neighbours will appear. There's a lot more to learn on Vox. Feel free to PM me if you want to know anything. Hope you enjoy blogging. I'll look forward to your posts. Oh, and feel free to say whatever comes to mind. That's the nice thing about blogging. You can.

I'm writing this for the second time - hit the wrong button Duh! Thanks for the comment it is useful to know that I am on the right track.

I hope your son enjoys London - I'm sure he will. Believe it or not I have travelled the world but I have never been to Scotland - I keep promising myself but work keeps getting in the way.

Oh well, off to work soon. We are having a conference today about teaching and learning - got to keep ahead of the game.

We quite liked Scotland. I posted on it a few days ago. Inverness and Loch Ness are well worth a look, as is Isle of Skye.
